Im throwing this question out to everyone:

In your opinion and/or past experience, how long do you think it takes to obtain the CCNP. This includes preperation and test taking through all 4 exams?

If your only looking to gain the knowledge it takes to pass the exams, it can be done in 2-6 months.

hello,

I took fourteen months but then I probably over-prepared on the routing as it was the first one. I'd not done anything much with Cisco other than simple, day to day, stuff for a couple of years since taking the CCNA course and exam.

Unless you have lots of experince I'd say a good guideline would be to take an exam every three months. That'll leave you time to read the books properly and to play around with equipment, etc.

Regards
Peter

If you got previous experience look to about 1 test per month
