Your quote is better, I took that particular quote from a book about German U-boats, the book is a good read with many great quotes.
If you get a chance, look through all of Enrons Equipment, line by line. I have a better feel for an enterprise network, They must have had 50+ Cisco guys. I am sure they are employed somewhere else. I tried to think from their perspective when they found out that Enron was belly up. They put their heart into building this large network and now it is being sold off. I recall like 11+ 5k Cat switches in there are 10 or so PIX Firewalls, many routers.
I did not know that 'Excite' is filing chapter 13, they have tons of gear going in the block.
I also found out that 1.5 million corporations went belly up last year. Think about that for a while, and hang on to what you got, and go for what you know. To top yesterdays news off, "Greenspan announced that the economy is getting better", boy there is a vote of confidence. I will sleep better now .
