Passed CIT with 931 score...CCNP!!

| It's finally over. Today I passed the final exam 640-506 CIT. I felt it was the easier exam of the four and I believe my score shows that. Order of difficulty from the most difficult to the easiest in my opinion...
1 - Routing (640-503)
2 - Remote Access (640-505)
3 - Switching (640-504)
4 - CIT (640-506)
I have been working on this since Dec 1999. I read books, study guides, cramsession, forums, practice questions, transcenders, and used CCNP virtual router sims. I also took classes about a year ago and actually used routers and catalyst switches, so I got hands-on. I also have access to test labs at work. These tests have been very demanding. I am going to finish my MCSE+I for NT 4.0 and then get my MCT.

| Very uncommon to see Support listed as the easiest CCNP paper though, ya must have spent lotsa time with the other 3!!

I to felt CIT was the easiest.
For Me in order from hardest to easiest.
1. Routing
2. Switching
3. BCRAN
4. CIT
I think for me CIT was easiest because I took it last and 75% of it was review from the other tests with troubleshooting methodologies, and show/debug commands thrown in. | |

I agree with Chodan, spend enough time on the first three and CIT is easier than you imagine it to be.

Up next for me is the MCSE+I for NT 4.0. I can still do the exams. I only have three to do. After that I will pursue MCT and CCSE.
PhD? Thanks, but I don't have a PhD. I do l this test is a challenge though. It covers a lot of material from the previous three exams. Chodan and Peterd are right on! If you do CIT last it will be easier for you to understand as it focuses on previously learned material from the other three exams. | |

| Cool dude. CIT is all trouble shooting so u can bet its bound to be easy when u have mastered all the others. I panicked a lot for mine after hearing it was the most dreaded. It turned out to be the easiest.
