| hello ms,
I believe that the exam covers BSCN plus ISIS. So the Ciscopress 503 Prep book and download some ISIS tutorials from Cisco or around the net may be enough to do it.
I'd already taken BSCN so I've ignored BSCI...

| I used routing tcp/ip vol. 1. Too much details on PDU formats...
Also, cisco.com and check out the ISO standards if you can get hold of the latter...

| Ciscopress are just about to release an IS-IS book, you may be able to find it on the web site www.ciscopress.com in the meantime study BSCN books and by then the new book shoul dbe out (if it isn't already). | |

| I have all the cisco press books, they are excellent but rough reading. I am heavy into glossary and index to locate topics and that is the one area where it is weak. | |
|
| I took the BSCI exam and I agree it is exactly the BSCN plus IS-IS. | |

| Routing TCP/IP vol 1 is better because from that book you can prepare for BSCI exam as well as for CCIE written exam " 1 bullet 2 birds " |
