Hi all,

I'm new here. I just got my CCNA and I'm now ready for my CCNP. I'm now thinking which of the exams should i take first? It's because i wanna start with the easiest one. Any suggestions? Also, what you guys recommend on books? I'd like to start asap as i know it's long way to go.....!! Actually, I'm thinking to buy the study guide from Cisco but i noticed that they didn't updated it yet, am i rite? Thanks a lot~~!!

Don't know what you might consider easy.

It really depends on your background and experience. I actually took the switching exam first since there was switching on the CCNA exam. Not having any experience with BGP and OSPF also helped the decision. If you get the BSCN book from ciscopress there is a free addendum you can download that is the chapter related to IS-IS.

hello,

I bought the Cisco Box Set and took the exams in 'numerical' order: routing, switching, remote access and then troubleshooting.

You'll find some aspects of the later study/exams rely on you knowing items from the earlier ones.

It all depends on your current knowledge, of course. Some people find it easier to start with switching or remote access (and some go for CIT first!).

You should find each course/book easier than CCNA as they cover a smaller topic but they obviously go into that topic in more detail.

The Sybex is more easier and interesting to read, but the Cisco press books are more excert to the point/objective.

So I oftren read the sybex books first ,then the cisco....
the any other materials...

IT CAN BE DONE..
