Looking for feedback on CCNP Bootcamps

| Hi,
I am doing a self-study for my CCNA and should take the test soon. Not really to worried about that.
I have been looking around for a CCNP Bootcamp and would like some feedback on camps that others have used.
My experience spans over 15 years in IT and engineering. I feel that I could self study for the CCNP, but there are time constraints that are pushing me to look into a bootcamp style study environment.
So far I have looked into Acrew and GlobalNet, both are 12 day programs for about $8000 to $9000, and are all inclusive, study guides, equipment, testing, lodging, meals, etc.. I know that it is possible to do it for less, but I am not looking for low cost. Quality is what I am after.

| go for it.
Globalnet has a particularly good rep
and a good track record from what rumors drift down into the slums here.
personally if i had ANY money at all I would buy equipment though. for $8000 you can get yourself a hell of a CCIE lab.

| Thanks for the post.
I agree that it is a lot of money. But in this situation the client wants certification, and my company is willing to spend the money. So time to completion is most important.

| Here is a
global knowledge CCNP Boot camp link.
I've not done the boot camp thing but they have excellent courseware on the nornal classes.
They hire more CCIE's than any company besides Cisco so you will get top notch instruction, they also have to be cisco certified as trainers.
The cost is $9995.00 but as you said you get what you pay for.
They go the 2 test route first is foundations then CIT.

I know that they are running some specials.
I heard many good things about this bootcamp. Plus it's in FLA, and this time of year, that's a definite plus when you live in Maine like me

| Freak,
I thought you were from Lousiana. Maine is a little to cold for me. I am orginally from Mass, many moons ago.
Lobster, LL Bean and the Skiing are still good assests of Maine. And let's not forget the Potatoes.

| Nope, I have never been to Louisiana, although my Patriots won there last year
I am from France, but I now live in Maine.
There are plenty of assets in Maine, but man it sure gets cold in the winter!
