Need some suggestions , 6 powerful picturetel and polycom video conferencing equipment located on different locations and they consumes too much bandwidth . 3 video devices are accross fiber network and 6513 , 6509 and 3524 series switches are coming in the way (around 4 switches). How could we increase the performance of the video conference equipments through switches ? What could be the possible solution other then this ?

1-Quesuing / QOS
2-Multicasting(but they are connected through a common gateway which leads to the internet and on these machinces we need to use internet also , so i think so to use multicasting will not be eligible)

Class based weighted fair queueing is straight forward and probably mature enough to go in most any network. There are many examples of CBWFQ on CCO, especially regarding telephony, so you can probably find something to help you out.

This is one link I have bookmarked, but you can problably find more recent stuff out there if you poke around.

802.1p class of service tagging is a place to start.
For layer 3 qos on the lan, look at something like cos to dscp mapping.
This might help:

Using their existing switches this is not possible.
Also I doubt the polycom units support h.321.
Probably only h.320 h.323
Also the picturetels probably aren't set up for ATM. Probably h.323

What connection speed are you connecting the video conferences with?? 2 meg? higher?
Also what speed are you running over the fiber? 100 megabit or gigabit?

Are you using a video bridge for your multipoint conferences?
