I received the following from Cisco today:

Online Support and Videos-on-Demand for all Your Cisco Career Certifications and Training Needs

On February 1, 2002, the Cisco Career Certifications and Training Customer Service Team will no longer offer phone support through 800.829.6387. You will be required to use the Certifications Online Customer Support site, www.cisco.com/go/certsupport to research and submit questions. By providing customers with detailed step-by-step answers to your questions, certifications and training videos-on-
demand and a faster response rate for emails, the customer service team will be able to provide you with a higher level of service.

Instructions:

Visit www.cisco.com/go/certsupport, click on "Instant Answers". Simply type in key phrases or a question into the "Search Text"
field and hit the "Search" button. The search will produce a list of corresponding topics, click on the topic to display detailed explanations or summaries based on your inquiry. There are more than 100 "Instant Answers" available.

Just Released--new videos-on-demand for CCNA and CCNP certifications. In addition to "Instant Answers", the new videos will guide you through the Certifications website, exam requirements, recommended training and location of an authorized Cisco Learning Partner. To view, click on the CCNA Curriculum Overview Video or CCNP Curriculum Overview Video subject links.

An option to "Ask Customer Service" via email is provided only after you have researched your question(s). To submit questions to Customer Service, you will be required to create a profile. In your profile, you will also soon have the option of opting in to receive certification and training updates from Cisco.

You can also utilize other features of the tool, such as requesting automatic notifications should a particular answer be updated, sending information to a friend or co-worker, rating the usefulness of the information provided, and viewing the questions submitted to customer service and the answers provided.

Customers will still be able to use the 800.829.6387 phone number to register for Cisco seminars, exams, and to contact the Learning Store and CCIE department.

By leveraging the Internet, we're able to provide you and all our customers with a 24x7 self-service support option.

Cisco certifications thank you for your continued support.
