System restarted by power-on
System image file is "flash:c2500-d-l.120-9.bin"

cisco 2525 (68030) processor (revision J) with 6144K/2048K bytes of memory.
Processor board ID 08364117 , with hardware revision 00000000
Bridging software.
X.25 software, Version 3.0.0.
Basic Rate ISDN software, Version 1.1.
1 Token Ring/IEEE 802.5 interface(s)
2 Serial network interface(s)
1 ISDN Basic Rate interface(s)
Integrated NT1 for ISDN Basic Rate interface
56k 4-wire CSU/DSU for Serial Interface 0
5-in-1 module for Serial Interface 1
32K bytes of non-volatile configuration memory.
8192K bytes of processor board System flash (Read ONLY)

Configuration register is 0x2102

Is the Processor board ID the MAC address?

Also, can each interface on a router have a different MAC address?

Thanks!!

A router does not have a mac address. Interfaces have mac addresses.

No. The processor id is a unique (in some scope) identifier for the processor on the main board of the router. Note that not all routers have a processor board id.

Ethernet and Token Ring can, do, and should have different (presumably globaly unique) mac addresses. I don't know about Serial, BRI, ATM and other types, though...

Specifically, "show arp" will show the MAC address of the installed interface cards provided they are not shut down.

show interface will show you the currently configured MAC address as well as the burned in address of LAN interfaces. Serial interfaces don't have a MAC address. For instances where the need one, IPX for example, they borrow the MAC of a LAN interface if there is one. Both serial and LAN interfaces can be configured with a different mac address with the mac-address command.
