I have two question let me confuse.
May you help me to explain it.

Q1.
The quantity of information contained In a routing update can be changed by
Implementing a route filter (distribute list). Which two statements about distribute
lists are true? (Choose two.)

A. Distribute lists are applied to interfaces or to routing processes.
B. If no match is found in the access list, the routing update is dropped.
C. Distribute lists are capable of changing the attributes of a received route.
D. A distribute list consists of a standard or an extended access list that has an
ˇ§ implicit deny anyˇ¨ statement at the end.

Answer: A,B

My question:
Why the answer "D" is wrong ? I'm sure distribute list also can use standard and extended access-list.

Q2
You are asked to interconnect networks that use different routing protocols. One
network uses IGRP and the other network uses OSPF.You connect the networks
using redistribution at the boundary routers.

If the routers were to receive route information for the same networks from IGRP
and OSPF, from which protocol will they select the route and why?

A. IGRP, because it is a hybrid protocol
B. OSPF, because it is a link-state protocol
C. OSPF, because it has a better seed metric
D. IGRP, because it has a better administrative distance

Answer: D

My question:
Why do I select the best distance protocol to connect two networks ?

its not a matter of which protocol...I believe it is a matter of which protocol has the best administrative distance.

Routers dont decide routes based on protocol or type...they pick the best route...

The Admin distance is a selection method for IP routing protocols, where sophisticated protocols are preferred over simple...

IGRP=100
OSPF=110

Hi,

If you are posting from what you got in the exam, It is not good.
Both in being against your aggreement with
cisco and also giving uneccessary info. which counts against your cert. value.

Thanks
