| Can anyone tell me what the largest PCMCIA Flash card I can shove(no I mean gently place) into a Cisco 1005 router, I know I can upgrade the DRAM to 16MB; but I'm curious as to what I can push the PCMCIA flash card to.
I've had a search on cisco's site for "1005 memory upgrade PCMCIA" and all derivations of it and there's zip all there...any ideas ppl? | |

"Q Which PCMCIA cards do Cisco 1003-5 routers support?
A Cisco 1003-5 routers are designed to support Flash ROM PCMCIA Version 2 cards ranging in size from 2 MB to 16 MB. PCMCIA Version 1.0 cards will work, but the software is unable to determine the memory size of these cards, so the software assumes the cards are 2 MB. If version 1.0 cards are used, the customer must ensure that the cards have at least 2 MB of memory."
Great now all I have to do is find a 16MB type 2 PCMCIA Flash Memory Card |
