Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone can suggest a work around for the following.

See attached.

I'm getting an excessive amount of RCV_ERR and IN-LOST errors on one of my ports.

I have looked through the Cisco site, which suggests that the recieve buffer is full. Is there a way of increasing the buffer so i can reduce the amount of errors occurring?

Thanks
Glen

I have experimented on routers messing with the buffers and decided you shouldn't do that. It's more likely you are addressing a symptom of a problem rather then the cause and should look deeper into fixing the cause. Unfortunately I can't read your attachment easily

swop the user to another port and see if the fault moves with it? This will identify it as a user/cabling problem.
