| Congrats ! What were you hit the heaviest with on switching ? I had a buddy tell me STP. Did they cover one area really in depth ? Do you get any 'weird' questions ?

| I am signed up with TechSkills for a year of unlimited use of their online
training. I can take any training they offer, one at a time. Plus they
provide the books. Sybex only. I used TechSkills Testprep software and
online training. I read the [yawn] Sybex book, after each chapter I would do
the questions for that chapter on the CD that came with the book. I did not
spend any time on SIMs, I just went on my prior knowledge of Cisco products. As for what to study, I seemed to get a lot of command lines for Switches, Routers, and RSM. Understand what switch to use for Core, Distribution and Access. Know your spanningtree and trunking. As for how long it took. CCNA - December 20th, Routing January 2nd, Switching January 14th. | |

Good luck w. your last two - you seem to have a spunge-like memory when it comes to how quick you've learned this stuff - I want to be that way. I've done self study on each one + its taken me a month to prepare for each exam, sometimes longer. Good luck on the last two ! You wil kick **S !!!
