CCNP cert has four exams; which one do you think is the easiest? Should that one be done first?

Before starting out on the CCNP track I asked the same question, and the majority of people said do them in exam number order (503, 504, 505, 506) some had different combinations but all said leave CIT to the end as it covers all the three subjects - personally I did 505 (Remote Access) first as I felt more comfortable with this.

Hope this helps!!

I have taken Switching, Remote Access, Routing and soon CIT.

I thought Remote Access was the easiest. My best score was on Switching. I flew through the Routing test - time wise, not score. So, I am curious to see what others thought of the tests difficulties as opposed to the sequence in which they should be taken.

From what I remember:

>Easiest - Routing

>Intermediate - Switching - Support

>Most difficult - Remote Access

For me, Switching and Support were about the same difficulty.

I took them in this order:

Switching
Remote Access
Routing
Support

Can you use the word "easy" with the word "Cisco" in the same sentence?

I think you got me there!

I have taken the tests in the same order as you. Might be something there to that order?

My experienced..

I took 503,505,504 and preparing 506 now...

I rate 505 remote access is the easiest test, because there is a lot of straight forward commands line to score from exibit table.

2nd is 504 switching, this also gone through with all the question average difficult.

3rd, routing is consider though, I did second attempted.

4th, CIT now preparing.... any help !

So, which one was the most fun?

Nothing easy about cisco exams, tons of cramming and bloodshed go into covering the upper level cisco exams. Eventually it will pay off.

If you enjoy using logic then routing is the most fun.
I learned so much from all these exams,
I felt like I really new something after finishing each and all of them.
Plus I think I am the only CCNP in my area hehe I`m sure that won`t last long.

I took the Exams in the following order:
Routing,
Remote Access,
Switching.

Now I am working on the Support Exam. Routing was the easiest of them all. I actually managed a score of 987 in the Routing Exam. But I am quite sure it all depends on your background and how much exposure you have to the related devices on a day to day basis.
