I have decided to take the new BSCI instead of the regular routing test. The only difference that I can see is that the BSCI includes the routing protocol IS-IS. Since this exam is a part of the CCIP, I feel I will be hitting two birds with one stone. We'll see how it goes

Good Luck in your studies. I am considering Boson for this, my old routing exam studies some various IS IS resources including Caslows CCIE book.
