in anticipation of passing the switching exam next week i will order my study guide for bcran. the amazon reviews don't seem to give a clear winner so i hope you good people can give me your suggestions

Mixed feelings. For once the book was concise and only told you what you needed to know for the exam. I used the Exam Certification book, not the course companion. The only complaint that I had was that it did not bring together the logical and physical configurations across the dial-up technologies very well. You have to do that on your own. It is good enough to get you through the test, although mis-directed at times. All in all, I believe that it is a must have for the exam at a minimum.
