Have you tried doing a search at Cisco.com?

I found the following:
http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td...oc/osi_rout.htm
http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td...oc/osi_prot.htm

among others, unforunatly all I know is that it is a link state routing protocol which is scalable to very large networks.

I'm sure the links will be able to help you much more than this.
