| First off, I'm new to the board, just passed the ccna thismorning 978. I was wondering if Cisco or anyone here suggests what order to go about taking the ccnp exams. 503,4,5,6? Is that the best way? | |

| I do think that the standard route of:
Routing
Switching
Remote Access
Support
is the best route to go. You will use information gained from routing in the switching exams (L3 switches have or use routers with multicast protocols similar to those you find in routing), I am studying for Remote Access right now and finding that routing is also a big part of this one too. As for Support, you need to know about the rest of the areas so you can troubleshoot. Really helps to have a rough knowledge on commands used on different systems to get by this one, or at least that is what I have herd from this group. |
