| Hello friends,
I am studying for 503 and I can not find the address for the eigrp hello packet multicast. I believe it is 224.0.0.?.
What is the ?
Not 5 or 6 as that belongs to OSPF DR/BDR and All router broadcasts. | |

Just curious... Did you know from memory, or did you look it up in your notes quick? I had to look it up because I couldn't remember if it was .4 or .10. | |

| It's .10 and that's from memory cuz we use EIGRP in a 300 site network.

I know:
.1 = all local hosts
.2 = all local routers
.5 = all OSPF routers
.6 = all OSPF DRs
.9 = all RIP2 routers
.10 = all IGRP routers
I have to look up 224.0.0.somethingelse. And I don't have notes; when I need to look up something, I search at google or cisco. |
