Good day all. I'm trying to find out roughly how many CCNP's there are currently in the market. I know Cisco only keeps tabs for CCIE's but was wondering if anyone knew of a site which might have a guestimate of how many there are. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Rigo.

You probably can't fit them all in a Volkswagen Bug at one time, but just from watching this site and seeing all the people passing all the exams, quite a few. Probably about 10K in the US alone (and that is a very liberal estimate) pass every year, my guess--

Thanks Depalmo for the response. Was hoping to get more of a response from folks. My company is doing a salary assessment of folks with certifications and wanted to know how many people had CCNP certifications (The one I'm working on currently) in trying to determine salary adjustments. Tks again for the response!!!

Cisco keeps pretty close tabs on this kind of information and your not going to find any statistics, aside from the CCIE, on the net.

These statistics are Cisco Confidential and
until they disclose this information the public will be in the dark.

Tell your boss this and go from there...

Best of Luck!

Hi,

this is a golden opportunity...

tell your boss that I said there are only 10,000 CCNP's in the world and you expect a great salary...

if the information is held secret by Cisco then he can't disprove it!

Perhaps it's a secret now, but i'm sure i saw it somewhere in the web, and it was official data from Cisco. Search for them.
