Has anyone found a good set of books for ccnp?

I have the CCNP Preparation Library (Cisco Press) and was wanting to supplement with something else. I never take one of these certification exams relying one one author.

So.., can anyone out there recommend books that you have used to pass the exams?

Maybe even books you didn't like.

Any help will be appreciated.
Thanx.

Hi,

I used the Cisco Press book for the BSCN (and currently the NCMSN) and the only other source of info was the net. I grabbed various booklets on OSPF, BGP and MLS, etc from Cisco's site and found other sites around that gave complimentary views.

Try a search on Cisco, and another on www.google.com looking for BGP or OSPF, whatever it is that you're interested in. You may be surprised by the response that you get.

The best thing of all is that this additional info is virtually free!

Regards
Peter

Thanx for your advice, Peter.

I'll do some research on the cisco site.

I am also just starting on my CCNP and my friend used the Cisco Press and Exam Cram. He has used it on seven different tests and really likes these books. The Cisco Press and Exam Cram are what I'm using.

You can look at the books here
