I just scheduled for the BSCN and I believe I am going to do well. I have been studying for about 6 weeks now. I am reading the PREP library by Cisco Press and http://www.ccxxproductions.com/ . This is a low-key company. It reminds me of examessientials and cramsession put together.

Hi,

I took BSCN about three months ago. There was probably half a dozen command questions but they supplied a list of about 96 to choose from. You then put the list number in the answer box so there's no problems with mis-typing.

All you'll need is a pretty good idea of what the command should look like and it's relatively easy to select the right answer...

however, they do give the right command but shown with different prompts. You must know which prompt you should be using to get the correct answer.

if you have time, try this...

go through the relevant book and type all of the commands into a spreadsheet like Excel (well TBH I typed them into Word and saved as a .csv file then imported into Excel as it's easier).

There aren't that many of them really, it shouldn't take long.

You can then sort the commands into order and it's easy to see the, erm, 'cadence' or 'pattern' of the relevant commands. You'll find there are a few 'starter' words, with a few more 'secondary' words and several other add-on options.

The thing is you'll not see that many commands but there'll be enough for you to be able to spot the pattern of a correct command that you've not seen before.

Um, I hope that all makes sense...

Regards
Peter
