I wrote to Cisco with this same question and the answer is that they expect you to either attend a class or buy one of their courses on cd (about $350 each)...there are no texbooks available for those classes nor have I been able to find any practice tests for them (Boson, etc.). Cisco does say, however, that you can get the book list for CCIE Security Specialist and read those if you want. Oh - for the Pix firewall there are two cd courses you have to buy - introduction and advanced.

Most of these subjects are sufficiently covered in other books with some help from CCO.

Enhanced IP Services for Cisco Networks (by Donald Lee, published by Cisco Press) covers IPSec on IOS the Firewall Feature Set (CBAC).
Cisco IOS 12.0 Network Security published by Cisco Press goes into more detail about IPSec.
Cisco Secure Internet Security Solutions has coverage of the Pix, CBAC and IDS, though these aren't covered in extreme detail.
Supplement what you can't get in the texts with a few articles on CCO and you'll be covered.

No. I just used the above texts to compliment experience.
