Which type of cable is used connect the switch 10BaseT ports to a 10BaseT port-compatiable workstation ?

RJ45 to RJ45 rollover cable ? OR
straight-through CAT 5 cable ?

It's a straight through CAT5 or CAT6 cable to connect from the switch to workstation.

You could even use a straight through CAT3 cable for 10Mbit/sec data transfer. However, CAT5 is typically used because it offers 10x the bandwidth and the price is nearly identical.
