| i havent posted on this forum at all this is the first time.i just wanted to let you know that this forum is a great place to get information on cisco ccnp certification. i passed the 640-503 bscn in may and today i passed the 640-504 bcmsn. my thoughts on the 640-503 exam now everything about ospf , eigrp and bgp also route summarization dont take the exam until you are sure you understand these subjects. the 640-504 bcmsn make sure you know trunking again make sure you know trunking i had alot of questions on trunking.i did not get any questions on hsrp not 1.know spantree and multilayer switching as well as multicast and you will be alright.like all cisco exams the questions are very confusing so know your material.i have the cisco ccnp library so i study cisco press all the way along with boson practice exams thats all you need.i want to thank you all for your input on these exams it is very helpfull.i have two exams to go so i will be speaking to you all soon . | |

| the other command questions were mls commands and some multicast. i'd say about 10 that you choose from a list. | |
|
| you meant that you had a command list that you can select from??
I thought BCMSN does not have any command list that you can select.
Thanks | |

If you could help aries and I out by telling how the command stuff works in the test. Do you select a command by pressing the dot next to it or is there a list and you type the command into a command line reader. | |

| Aries/ramlax ,
for the switching exam the commands are not from a huge list but rather four option buttons with appropriate selections.
and a "type-in" or two...
peace out
