Hi all,

Well, I am taking my BSCN on 2nd of July. I am finding this much tuffer then BCMSN and that's why all kind of -ve thinking processes are on in the back of my mind....

As per Cisco, out of 1000, we almost get the cradit of 300 marks.... And the passing score for BSCN is 690... So, does it mean that I need to answer just 60% of the questions to clear the exam or what?

Pl. reply this as I am a bit scared for BSNC...

Hi,

roughly, assuming equal markes per question, you need to get 43 correct out of 61 to pass...but most people say that the questions aren't equal in number of marks given so that's an basic guide.

Before I took the BSCN I drifted between being confident of a pass and even more confident of a fail. The good news is they don't take you out the back and shoot you if you fail (or so I've been told!) so there's no need to worry about it.

The pressure is off, you just have to read and re-read the books right up to sitting the exam. If you've covered the basics then you can pass it, I did so it can't be that hard...

but like every exam, it seems hard before you take it and a piece of cake after you pass.

Aim for 1000 rather than exactly 690, that way you can afford to frop a few points.

Good luck
Peter
