| hi everyone, today i passed my cit in 12 minutes, prepared for it from official cisco book for 8 days, scored 885.....i studied for about 12-14 hrs every day for it...exam is evenly based, covering all topics almost equally,i love cisco exams they make to think conceptuly and not just cramming ..the more u build ur concepts the more ull feel comfortable in the exam...my last exam is now routing in ccnp track....wish everyone good luck...difficulty of this exam is 3/5... | |

| How many questions on average were you answering per minutes! | |

| lets do the math
i'll assume the minnimum # of q's
60/12 min = q per minute or
1 question every 12 secs
nearly impossible i doubt evelyn wood could
speed read a cisco question like that.
if you did actually do it
john chamber should personally hire you and make you
the prodigy.

| beleiev me or not its up to u...but it was like 5-6 secs per question,u can do it

| It really doesn't matter how fast you finish preparing for and taking the exam. Really, it doesn't. You will not get a higher salary or better certification for rushing through the exam. Take your time, about a minute per question is my general rule of thumb. If I get ahead, thats nice but not my goal. If I fall behind, its time to ready the question very carefully one more time and answer it as best I can.
And trust me, telling everyone else how long it took to complete the exam doesn't help others either. People want to know what resources you used to prepare successfully for the exam, what practice tests, what simulators, what web sites, etc.. proved useful in your preparations, and which ones were a waste of time, too.
Also people like to know, as specifically as legally possible, what was asked on the test. What topics were covered, what was emphasized. What kinds of questions were on the test...command line, multiple-choice, other?
And people also like to know that you passed, of course. Congratulations on your accomplishment.

| dear jagooch,
thanks for ur comments, but i am sorry to say that i dont give out braindumps or what was asked on the exam ,please try somewhere else or ask someone else who can give out braindumps.......as far the resources that i used i mentioned them in my thread starter paragraph if u had read it carefully ....u wouldnt be asking for the resources...telling other people what was asked in the exam is against the disclosure agreement that we make with cisco and of course it will devalue this prestigious certification...... | |

| First, where did I ask for a braindump? I said as "specific as legally possible" which braindumps are not. I think that should clarify what information I said most people are looking for.
Second, lets see what resources you used:
"hi everyone, today i passed my cit in 12 minutes, prepared for it from official cisco book for 8 days, scored 885"
So you used the Cisco Press book and that was it? Clear enough. Everything you need to know for the CIT exam is in this book.
Look makahmed, my original reply was not to give you a hard time, that is not what this forum is for. Its for people pursuing CCNP cert to share information about preparation of the exam an exam experiences (this was hard, this was easy, etc). The purpose was to minimize the arguing about whether or not you completed the exam faster than the person who wrote it. That kind of discussion just starts a flame post that doesn't help anyone with the test, so therefore it shouldn't be here.
This is my final message in this thread, so makahmed you now have free reign to try and put words in my mouth and persist in making a point that has no relevancy to this forum.
Have a nice day. | |
