Hi,Everyone,
I am preparing for BSCN and I have bososn tests ver 3.2.Is there any difference in current version and 3.2.Are these tests useful for my preparation?

Boson 3.2 is okay. I used version 3.2 and I found
Test 1 & 3 very useful.

Don't worry about the latest versions. There is
not great difference.

Good Luck.

I've used boson 3.3 and there are many typos/grammatical errors that make the questions difficult to understand. Furthermore some of the explanations for questions are contradictory to my hard-copy cisco press book (which I tend to believe over the boson). Overall though, they are better practice than the tests that come with the Cisco books. (Which are also ridden with typos, errors, and contradictions to the accompanying text!)

Has anyone out there used the Boson test materials and then taken the BSCN test? Were they useful? I am trying to decide if they are worth the purchase.

Bosun test #1 is their best. But it greatly depends on your test. I didn't find their questions TOO helpful. They are way too detailed. Cisco's tests are more general and ambiguous. And their explanations were lacking in some of the more difficult subject matter. Most of the time they just print out the router help screen, which I can do myself. Or they provide a link to Cisco documentation, which I can search for myself.

I personally found that XXXXXXXXXX had a better mix of questions that were closer to the level of the test. And their explanations were good, too. And they're cheaper than Bosun, especially if you want the whole CCNP.

But the best of both worlds is to get them both. They compliment each other very well. And with the Cisco Press books, you've got everything covered.
