What is the best material to study for the Remote Access exam? I really don't want to read 800 pages.

What book are you considering that consists of 800 pages?

For all of my CCNP studies, I chose the Cisco Press Cert Library. The BCRAN book within the set is written by Brian Morgan CCIE & Craig Dennis CCSI. ISBN = 1-58720-003-1, & it is only 443 pages long, including the answer section.

That's my recommendation.

In addition to the above I am adding exam cram remote access to my studies. It's not a very large book. You might want to consider it, especially if you know the subject well.
