Hello all,

I was wondering what the recommended threshold for cpu and memory utilization is on cisco devices. I seem to remember seeing this somewhere but can't find it for the life of me.

pg. 46, CCDA Exam Certification Guide maybe?
It says;
5-minutes CPU utilization < 75%
buffer misses < 25/hour
output queue drops <100/hour
input queue drops <50/hour
ignored packets <10/hour/interface

Dang.....75% cpu utilization seems a bit high. Use that answer if asked on a test but I think you'll be experiencing some difficulties if that occurs on your router
