| I know that this question has been asked here probably a thousand times... but how is that BCRAN test? I am taking the test tomorrow morning and am getting a little nervous. Any advice as to what I could/should use to review for the test? Areas to concentrate on? | |

| network geek,
This test is fairly straight forward, be prepared with: ISDN (know your ref.points and complete understanding of BRI and PRI)Mine was heavy into modem commands, at least 6. Completely understand queing and how each type works. This test was the easiest test in regards to commands. Even though there are a lot of command questions (at least 20)you get to choose from a exhibit list of just the command, in other words it is not nessesary to know if its in INT, LINE, ROUTER and so, just the command it's self, you must however type the command into the blank exactly(make sure you spell them exactly as they are displayed, don't dis- regard any S's)Also know the products, especially the 1600 series, I found the Cisco Press was week on presenting this material, find a good source on this subject and know exactly which model has what type of interfaces. Hope this helps you, best of luck tomorrow, I'm sure you will do just great. Good luck to you as well JayRock. |
