I have no Cisco switch or Bcran exp.
Please help | |
|
| I have to agreewith Cryptogirl......I think BCRAN is the easiest. | |
|
| Here is the breakdown Larry...
I just passe dthe Switching 2.0 test. I read the Cisco Press book once. Then did some limited testing material I had. Then I re-read the book and took notes concentrating that time on VTP trunking, trunk modes, Stp and multicasting. The day of the exam I spent about three hours totally cramming commands. I had things floating in my head boy..Point is:
Reda the Cisco Press...Re-read it while taking notes and concentrating on the topics you will be tested heavy in (Trunking VTP STP some MLS. If you devote small but intense time to it you will do well. If you really need help you can reach out. This site is as good as it gets. Band of Gypsies....

| Thankyou Webmaster. Do you know how informative this site really is.
Buenas Suertes a todo....unknown command?

man switching is the easiest one read the book twice and go take the exam min. prep. time 10-12 days and max. 1 month
|
| Ok
So, 3 people have told me to take BCMSN and 2 have said BCRAN.
Still confused. Anyone else care to tell me there advice?
|
|
|
| If you never play with Catalyst switch, I suggest you to take the Switching training.
Training is not used to pass the exam but getting hands on experience is more important. Everyone can just read the book and pass every CCNP exam.

Routing. I'm serious! For me, the easiest is routing. It's true that for almost two years I played with OSPF and BGP, though...
It all depends on what kind of experience you have. I suppose I'm one of the very few weirdos who believe Routing is the easiest.
Cheers! | |

| If you are new to the Cisco environment then
BCRAN is the easier of the two.
Hope this helps. | |
|
| BCRAN is the easiest of them, no doubt.
The biggest reson is that 1/4 of the questions is type in, but you got a list of answers where the right answer is. If you have them somewhere in your head you should do well.
|
| The tally is 6 people saying that BCRAN is easier and 2 saying BCMSN.
I am going to take the BCRAN next and sign up for the BCMSN test in JUNE in Orlando, FL
Thank you so much for all of your help everyone.
