| Thank you for all your support, I passed Switching today. I think it is time for me to contribut something here about the test
1) No HSRP
2) No ATM LANE, TokenRing
3) VTP and Trunking, lots of (commands, concepts, troubleshooting...), heart of the test
4) Cisco Switch Products usage, 1900 , 2900, 5000/5500, 600/6500, 8500 series...access and distribution layer application...)
5) CGMP, Multicast, nearly all are commands
6) General Troubleshooting, like LED's and commands...one ask, use what command to see the error message/log are redirected to other devices...I donno....I just type "show run"...I thinke I was wrong
7) Unicast, Multicast and Broadcast definiation...
8) Multicast MAC address...
I hope this can help...
Go for Routing now... | |

thanks for nice post
how much type in questions U got
|
| I've just got one type question. All others command related questions are M.C questions.
By the way, I use CCNP Switching Certification Guide, BCMSN and Sybex. But I think Sybex is not much that useful.

| hangchan,
Congratulation!
The answer to your no.6 list should be
"terminal monitor", CMIIW.
