| I have 2 question! First, is multicasting. I'm having some slight problems with it, but nothing major. Can anyone tell me if this is a big part of the test. Second, I have been using Sybex to studdy for this test and I'm in the last chapter. Was it a mistake to use Sybex instead of Cisco Press. I would love to hear you guys opinions.

| I think that, in general, CiscoPress is much better than Sybex. But you may want to hear opinions from people that actually took the CCNA/CCNP tests.

| I've used both Sybex and Cisco Press for this exam. I've found that they compliment each other. I thought Sybex did a better job in explaing "how to" with regards to multicast addressing. Cisco Press may have held an edge overall though. Be certain not to limit yourself to one particular brand because the more resources you use, the more understanding you'll get. One always gives a different bent on a particular area that may help you understand an area you might be having difficulty with. | |

| I think Multicasting Chapter in sybex book is little bit difficult to digest. I believe Todd Lammle was in a hurry while he was writing this chapter. I am also having difficulty in understanding multicasting from Sybex book. | |

but had around 20 on Vlans and Spanning tree.
