| I have an ISDN question. Suppose I have a router with two BRI interfaces (BRI1 & BRI2 ). I assign these interfaces to a rotary group.
Now, I configure a dialer interface & assign the rotary group to this. Where would I be making my physical connectivity for ISDN. Will it be BRI1 or BRI2 as my dialer interface is a logical interface.
Thanks. | |

| I'm not sure I understand your question, so maybe this isn't relative.
It sounds like you're asking if the physical connection is happening on BRI1 or BRI2. If they're both part of the same rotary group then the answer is both, using the properties set in the dialer interface(s).

| Thanks Madchef. Thats what I was asking. So, does it mean that if I have got 4 Bri ports & I am using all of them in a dialer rotary group, through the dialer profile, than I have to ask for 8 Spid's for 4 Bri ports & also toatl of 4 connections, 1 for each of them from the provider.
Thanks. | |

Yup. Since any of these ports could be used to dial you have to have them all set up.
