| Hey fellow Cisco heads;
If you live in North Texas - I've got good news for ya, and if you don't . . . there's still some good news.
There are two book stores in North Dallas called " 75% off books" $5 Cisco Press current editions !!! My buddies have been scoring 'em up right and left. I found some other IP books last week and a current Todd Lammle CCNP book I picked up for $5. The Cisco press stuff goes fast.
For the rest of ya non-Texans. . .I've purchased two Cisco Press books from the Z-shops at amazon.com. I scored the " Building Cisco Remote Acess Networks " for $25 ( slighly used ) and last night I got the " Building Scalable Cisco switched Networks " for $30. Not too bad considering both titles are $60 new. The book(s) are in good consition, the only thing I noticed was a black "1" on the bottom.
Hope this helps you out.

| Navid,
Thats a bummer. Yeah . . It's far to drive. Sorry - I've told it like it is . . . a few dudes here at my work came rollin' in one day with Cisco books they got at that store.
Sorry your experience was not up to par. The only reason I suggested this is because I thought it was cool and wanted to share. Times are tough and The Cisco Press books NEW are expensive.
The morning would be the ideal time to go. Thats when my buddies scored.
Peace,

| I've had good luck using http://www.addall.com/ for finding good prices on books. It is basically an internet bookstore search engine. You can also try http://www.halfpricecomputerbooks.com/ sometimes they get some good books in, make sure you check the ISBN numbers to make sure that you are buying the current version of the books though. | |

| I've always used http://www.bestbookbuys.com. It searches many on-line retailers for the lowest prices on new books. You acn even search by ISBN number. | |
