| I am planning to schedule my CIT exam soon, please can anyone tell me which one is the hardest out of the two. CIT or BCSN?
How many questions and minutes do you get on the CIT test. All information and guidance welcome.
Many thanks for your help in advance.
Best regards,

| i will suggest u to go for BSCN first because in CIT they will ask questions from all other CCNP subjects so u should know them well | |

| I took CIT and did not find it as difficult as either BCRAN or BCSMN. That's not to say that this will not be a difficult exam, just make sure you are prepared. I am working on BSCN now. Since I have heard so much about how tough this one is, I am making double sure that I am ready.

| If you have been around all the technologies that are testing in the CCNP for some time (a couple of years) then everything in the CIT will not be anything new to you. All it will cover is understanding the information that you need to comprehend when making decisions about troubleshooting.
So if you have experience, should be pretty easy. If you haven't worked with L3 switches, dial-up/ISDN, routing in general, they you should probably take it last, much easier. All the information that you need will be presented in all the books that lead up to the CIT. The actual CIT is merely a summary of the troubleshooting techniques that are already covered in all the other exams. | |

| From what I've read and know about CIT it will be a lot smoother if u crush BSCN first. It's got a lot of technology talk and commands but it's all quite easy to understand. |
