| hello 2 all,
i have a query abt the cisco prospects around the world how has the NY acident affected the whole cisco community do we have more lay offs
specially how good is the job condition in germany guys from germany r u facing the same problem

before anyone from the US 'jumps' on you, perhaps you meant to type 'incident' rather than 'accident'?
From what I read in the UK press, the situation in Germany is pretty bad now. Their national 'growth rate' is almost the lowest is Europe and they're really missing out since they opted for the Euro over the Dmark. Unemployment is creeping up too.
Obviously they've been a major 'player' in the past and they can improve their current position, but they seem to be suffering from the wrong kind of government at the moment.
In your position I'd be looking for work in the UK for the next few months. It's slowing down here too but not yet as badly as elsewhere.
Who knows what the New Year will bring?
