does anyone know if you will be required to convert and multicast ip address to a MAC address for the BCMSN test and if so do they give you a decimal to hexadecimal chart?

I am going to take it next week and am wondering if I really need to study it. I have a basic understanding of it, my big problem is converting decimal to hexadecimal, mainly anything over 15. Does anyone know a good site to teach you how to convert higher numbers to hexadecimal?

Yes you have to know it, and yes there is a chart. Be sure to know which bits are converted and such. If you've got that down, it's a brainless excercise in referencing a chart.

Yeah I did get a question on that. It was very very very easy. There is a way you can answer it in a short easy way. Ill get back to you on that later...
