OK, i just got my hands on a 2514, however, i am going to take the switching exam first. I would rather get through the 504 exam first just because i would be performing switching functions at work.
My question is i think i should take the foundation exam, since i will be doing switching and routing?? is that feasible?? anyone sit for the foundation??? any input would help.

I'm not sure of how the Foundation exam rates in difficulty but think of it this way.... In the 70+ question exam they can ask you anything covered in the 3 exams it takes the place of. That's alot of subject matter to be covered in one exam. Lets say you aced the switching portion, did ok in the routing portion but blew the last part. You'd still fail the whole exam. Then again maybe you'd pass and not have to sit the others....

I prefer the one step at a time method.
