| what's the MAIN difference between:
clear ip bgp peer-group (peer-group-name)
and
no neighbor (peer-group-name) peer-group?

| Probably the configuration mode you're in when you issue the commands. To me, looks like they accomplish the same task. (Do you know PERL? PERL's motto: "There is More Than One Way to Do It" )
Hmm, I double checked on this one. Apparently, "clear ..." removes all the members from the peer-group, without removing the group itself, while "no neighbor..." removes the group and the members. However, I couldn't find an answer for this: is it possible/legal (not worried about usefulness now) to have a peer-group with no members?
