Frame-relay local-dlci command is used for testing frame relay encapsulation in a setting where two servers are connected back to back. This is not used in a live frame relay network.

I agree with Yankee.
I just found this site a couple of hours ago, I must admit it's pretty darn amazing!

Thanks Cisco. Many people put a lot of time into making this site the best on the web.

I have to ask.....you really a CCIE? I've never seen a CCIE tagline that didn't reference their "#".

Just curious,

Yankee

Hi, How are you Yankee?

Yes, I am an CCIE, just got back from Tokyo, Japan, that's where one of the lab centers are located. Thought I'd go there for vacations as well as my CCIE. As for taglines, it really doesn't matter at all.
Sorry for the inconvience. I hope to help as much people as possible throughout the next couple of weeks.

Hi Cisco,

If you could share your CCIE study experience in terms of books and other related links etc. would help many of us who are working towards CCIE.

Hi Ravi,

Well as for CCIE, I got most of my experience hands-on, all of my friends were at the time CCIE, so they basically helped me out like you wouldn't believe. As for books, I studied the following thourghly...

Ccie Professional Development : Cisco Lan Switching (The Cisco Press Ccie Professional Development Series)

CCIE Professional Development: Routing Tcp/Ip

Both are very well mannered books, I really enjoyed the first though.

Good Luck!
