Thanks to all you guys on this group, i finally completed it today.

I just want to congratulate CCNPWALA also on completing it.

Onto CCIE now.

The CIT exam was different for me, it was token rings, atm, vlans, very little on frame and isdn. I would definitely recommed going through the new Support book 5 or 6 times and you should be ok. Also go through the test questions on the CD in the book and oh yes- and some hands on won't help.

Thanks guys once again. I will still try to keep the new people, but see you all in the CCIE discussion group.

If anyone needs anything- just shout

Hi akohli8745 & ccnpwala,

I have booked my CIT exam next week :-(.

Just wondered when you mentioned ATM, how many questions are there ? The CIT course
did not seemed to emphasize a lot on ATM.

Well, are there questions that provide you with the output of the commands and expect you to key the commands in ?

By the way, congratulations to both of you..

You should study the output of show interface atm 1/0/0...It does talk about but in couple of pages. Those pages might give you 3-4 questions on test...One thing you gotta know about CIT is how to read show and Debug commands.
Good Luck on your CIT exam..

Hi,
akohli8745/CCNPWALA

I am about to take my cit, you said you had a lot of ques on token/atm? Is it mainly on the show/debug section or on the general technology. Did you have many type-in questions? can you go bank and change your answers? were there a lot of exhibit diagram to work on? Feel free to fill in any other thing I need to know. Please reply ASAP.
Thanks

i would just say and i know Yankee would back me up, just read that book a few times.
Thats all i did and practiced.

there are type in questions, i had quite a few. But this is not like BCRAN. There is no exhibits, so you either know you commands or dont. I would learn my ISDN commands, like for layer 2 and layer 3 and i think you should be ok.

only your troubleshooting steps also inside out.

But you will be fine and good luck.

Passing score is typically in the 690s, but I believe it may vary depending on the questions you draw from the pool.
