| Anyone-
What is the opinion of these (COLT) tests? I have heard that they are a great Preperation for the real tests, and that they are more difficult than the real thing. I have tried them to test my knowledge for BSCN and the results have been a little discouraging. Any input is greatly appreciated.

| Hi,Fly: could you tell me which URL is that? I called Cisco/certification yesterday; somebody told me that they only have COLT for CCAN. Obviously I got wrong info.
For your BCSN, since I didn’t try the COLT before, couldn’t compare that with the real exam. I think when you read the new course book, pay attention on the “repeated” part, you would be fine. Good luck!

Yankee is correct with that information. I think you need to get a Cisco ID before you can access the test.
Anybody have any thoughts on the effectiveness of the tests?

| Hello all,
I was able to logon to the Cisco site and look at some of the COLT questions. I took the BSCN Pre-Assessment exam. There were quite a few exams listed. It looks like a valuable tool. I didn't have time to finish the exam (72 questions) so I still don't know what type of feedback you get after you're done. They do allow you to come back and finish a particular exam if for some reason your session is interrupted. Also, if you choose to re-take an exam, you will receive new questions.

| I took one of these (BCMSN) - you get a mark at the end and a report to your email address noting the questions that you missed and the objective that the question comes under |
