| Passed the BCRAN with an 830.
The material I used to study:
CISCO Press
EXAM Cram
BOSON sample tests 1-3
These seem to be ample prep resources to pass the exam; I did this all through self-study. My suggestion to anyone that is preparing for this exam, understand the material related to each topic (X25, Frame-relay, ISDN (PRI/BRI), DDR, Router types (Remote Offices, Corporate, Branch), and configuration commands). I would say about 60% of the test asks questions on what command would you use to configure..... pick from list.
Caveat: For some reason Cisco likes to make some question very ambigious, and the best approach to answering these question, is to eliminate answers that don't apply. Make sure you take your time reading through each question a few times. You have plenty of time.
Good Luck,

| I agree. This exam seemed more like the Microsoft tests...very vague questions and a little trickery thrown in for good measure. Also, they want you to know their product lines (what models have what interfaces).
I had hands on experience with ISDN and frame relay and still felt this test was difficult.
It was just too much info "under the hood".
Anyway, my .02. | |

| I have seen many posts that agree with my feeling that the BCRAN exam is the easiest of the CCNP exams.
In the seven Cisco exams I have taken it's been my experience that the better you know the subject matter the less vague and confusing the questions become. But BigK makes a great point, that when you do run in to a question that stumps you or seems vague, eliminate the one that is obviously wrong. The other thing to look for is two answers that have opposite meanings because you know one of them has to be wrong.
Keep your chins up because these tests build upon each other and this redundancy (or overlap) in the exams really helps you understand and maintain the info you have read.
Good luck to you all,
