BCMSN: CLI command confusion
|
|
|
| Hi, there:
I am studying for the above exam. One thing I need your help to clarify.
It seems to me there are three kinds of CLI commands:
1. set based (5XXX)
2. IOS based (19XX/28XX)(CISCO BCMSN book)
3. IOS based (29XX) (BCMSN course)
For instance, vlan membership:
for 1: set vlan
for 2: vlan-membership
for 3: vlan database ....
As far as the exam is concorned, which one shall I focus on?
Thanks for your help!

| One more question.
In the Boson test, they asked a lot of questions like " which device contains 24G switch fabric". In the real exam, do you got such question?
Thanks again?

| I can't answer your switch question because I'm not there yet. But, I do think product question will show up because they were on the BCRAN exam.
Cisco really wants us to know their product lines!!! | |
|
| There is a real good reason to know their product line, reason is that Cisco wants more recognition from people being Cisco certified and suggesting their products to employers. Another good reason is, you have to know the commands for every ios and their functionality to be able to even smell, touch, taste, the CCIE lab test. |
