After taking the CCNA cert, what is the suggested track: CCNP or CCDA ? Is there
something that I'll be missing if I go for
CCNP without complete CCDA first ? I heard
that CCDA is a must if a company what to
be a premier cisco partner...

any advises or comments ?

thanks

If a company wants to be a Premier Partner, they need to have one CCNA and one CCDA. They can be the same person. See http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/76...remier_req.html

Plus it's just good basic knowledge to have. It'll help you as you move on to CCNP and if you knew the CCNA stuff well when you tested then you shouldn't have much trouble with the CCDA.

Chris about a month ago I was wondering the same track and realize that if I wanted every oppportunity to be presented in the internetworking career I had to know everything. The ccda goes into more business related issue than ccna.Design course will give overall satification that you know basic cisco design, which if you like me a cisco partner will need your skills.
