I have a little spare cash and i am interested in buying some used equipment to set up a home lab that will help me with the CCNP track. What is the best routers to buy for the money, and if anyone knows a good reller that sells used equipment at good prices

Cisco 252X are probably the best since they have sync. async. and ISDN but they are difficult to find in the second hand market. There are plenty of 2501 router avaliable in the market for practice.

Look at these sites. You might find what you're looking for.

I don't know that you really need to buy equipment for this track. The problem is that it's so hard to simulate real-life scenarios in a home lab. You can tinker around with a BRI interface all you want, but until you actually have that in operation on an ISDN line, you'll never actually be able to see the output of "debug isdn q931". You can do little more than what you could do with a back-to-back serial connection at r1r2.com, and that's free.
I just say this because a lot of people start to set up a home lab before they realize that there are many limitations to what they can do. It's a tough call because there's no preparation like experience, but what do you do when you don't work in a place where you can get experience?
Try to cost justify this. With one router you can set up async dial (if you've got 2 phone lines). With two routers you can set up sync serial connections and route between them. Yeah, I'm sure you can do a few more things with a spare router, but how much? This ain't exactly your multi-area OSPF on NBMA.
Think hard about why you need this. Maybe the funds could be better used on a new Sony Wega TV.
