Long wait for i-Net -> CIW-a

| CIW cashed my $95 check 2 months ago to make the transfer, but their website still shows that my CIW-a status as "enrolled" and payment not processed. Has anyone else done this transfer? Wondering if the version 5 change where they'll no longer be honoring i-Net+ transfers has anything to do with this.
No response to 3 emails sent to them either... | |

| I did it in early February and had no problems with them, it took a while for the cert to show up. | |

| Did recieve a reply to one of my last emails sent one month ago yesterday. CIW has now updated their website to show that I'm CIW-a certified. Long wait and poor communication, but in case anyone's wondering, they did follow through. | |

| Glad to hear it, I would still let them know that replying to emails should be done at a quicker pace that what you received. | |

| Thats weird though....I just took my i-Net+ on Friday, and have communicated with them through e-mail about 2 or 3 times and they have replied almost "instantly" each time with quality information. I haven't had my transfer completed yet, but they seem to be on top of things. They just received my score report today. So I'll see how it goes. Hopefully it won't be a bad experience. So far it hasn't been one bit. | |

| I have never had a problem with Comptia, after a test, they have my information in a couple of days, just goes to show the difference in customer service. | |

| Yeah, CompTIA has always been good to me. I did a poor job of wording my last post. I was actually speaking of CIW when I was talking about the quality responses I have received from them so far. I didn't really clarify that in the post though. I went back and read it and it looks as though I was speaking about CompTIA, when in reality I was talking about CIW. They are the ones who have been so helpful and responsed VERY fast to e-mails and so forth regarding the i-Net+ to CIW-A transfer.

| I would still keep an eye on the website, but it looks like everything is on track now. Good luck. | |

| lseals,
Speaking of which....how do I get a login for CIW?? I noticed it wants a score report and site center, etc. for a first time user on creating a login. However, obviously I do not have that if I have never taken a CIW exam. Will they send me some logon information or what? Thanks in advance,

| I received an email from them that stated that they received my information (ciw agreement and payment) and they gave me a username and password. I paid by credit card and faxed my score report to them and called to make sure that they got it. I received the email on Feb. 5th, I passed the i-net+ test on Jan 30, but did not send them the paperwork till Feb 2nd. If you have the time I would give them a call and see if they have not received something that might be holding things up (ciw agreement). Good luck. | |

| I received my CIW-A username and password last week and they showed me paid and certified. I am waiting on the certificate itself now. Overall, they were VERY quick for me and took care of this in less than a weeks time. Maybe your stuff just got lost or you had bad luck....I dunno. At least you got it all taken care of though! A cert is a cert...:-)
