Author Question for you Webmaster out there...

I wanted to know if there was an easy way to link to a shared printer in a web page so users could just click on the link and have it setup the printer easily without having to go through the normal steps of finding the correct one, etc... it just seems so much easier to put this in a web page so people have an acurate description of what the printer is and what they should/not print to it. I have tried the usual efforts (\\Servername\printshare), and (print://servername/printeshare), but these seem not to work for W2K or XP . Someone must know an easy way to make this work for an internal domain, right? Do I need to find the printers AD object or what? I am stumped, and I'm not a web master (if that's not blatantly obvious already, lol), and I would appreciate any help on this that you could offer.
